Welcome to the official site of Loose Canon Productions, and our show "Spooky Places," hosted by Laura and Kristy. Spooky Places is being shot and edited on video tape.  We were out there working paranormal cases before the popular TV series Ghost Hunters, Most Haunted and Dead Famous were produced.  If our equipment had not failed you would be watching our shows along with these that I mention.  They had more resources and obviously more dependable equipment than we had.  You may notice they do not use Canon video cameras.  Neither do we now.

We have met with unexpected difficulties along the way that costs us thousands and put our productions on the back burner.  Most of these were caused by equipment failure causing the loss of video footage of the show.  Several of our most important tapes were damaged thanks to professional equipment that let us down.  We have concluded it was a faulty Canon camera.  We paid to have the camera fixed and it failed again shortly after.  We no longer do business with Canon.

Our budget expended and our equipment all but useless we had to find other resources to build our budget back.  We now have a pair of brand new Sony HDV cameras.  We intend to put the pieces back together and continue the Spooky Places project along with other contract video jobs that we do.  In the process of doing other jobs we discovered we are not the only producers who have begun shows about the paranormal who have met with unexpected problems that prevented their shows from being finished.  "Ghosts of Pipers" was to be done by someone else.  Their video was also lost and the man responsible for that vanished with the original tapes.  The job then came to us to finish. After some effort we did complete "Ghosts of Piper's."

Since then we bought another small Sony DV camera with night vision that can read nearly 90% of the video we lost thanks to the faulty Canon camera.  We bought a new Mac computer with the full blown Final Cut Studio 2 software editing system.

Because of certain other problems with a former domain server we have moved this website to a new server and placed it inside of another domain. For the time being the main part of this website will be off line. You can however access the more interesting Unofficial Spooky Places Website from here by clicking on the picture below.

The next thing you might like to know is the link that gets you here from the redirect for loosecanon.tv loops through a frame that I can't avoid from here. To get around this you need to log directly onto dream-link.org and use the link on the home page to get to the unofficial Spooky Places website.
